Many People are Atheists because of what others have led them to believe. They have not personally and seriously, searched out all the aspects of the existence of God for themselves.
If God truly does exist, finding out about Him would be extremely important. After all, if He is the Creator of the Universe, He would transcend every important Person that has ever lived.
Deep down in their hearts, people know there is a Creator.
He is a Genius Creator.
He is a Powerful Creator.
He is a Loving Creator.
It is evident that God wants People to find Him because He says - “Seek Me and you will find Me, when you seek Me with your whole heart. I will be found of you.”
What an exciting and amazing journey to embark on.
Ask yourself these four questions -
Is this not a path of discovery that I should venture on?
If He exists, how would that effect my life?
If so, should I get to know Him?
Am I going to allow others to prevent me from finding out?
Now let me briefly show you some evidence of God’s existence without any arm twisting …
The Universe proves the existence of GOD.
Consider the proof of CAUSE.
Scientists are convinced that our universe began with one enormous explosion of energy and light, which we now call the Big Bang. This was the singular start to everything that exists: the beginning of the universe, the start of space, and even the initial start of time itself.
The universe has not always existed. It had a start...what caused that?
Scientists have no explanation for that first sudden explosion of light and matter.
Astrophysicist Robert Jastrow, stated; "The seed of everything that has happened in the Universe was planted in that first instant; in the moment of a cosmic explosion. It flashed into being, and we cannot find out what caused that to happen."
The earth when compared in size to the universe is smaller than a grain of sand.
The sun is 1.3 million times larger than the earth.
The smallest star is at least 1 million, million times larger than the earth.
The Earth is part of our Solar System, which is a part of the Milky Way, which is a part of our Galaxy, which a part of the Universe.
Our Solar System is immense and has over a 100,000 million Stars. Its diameter is 7500 million miles. Outside of our solar system there are millions of other solar systems and together they form the Milky Way.
Our Milky Way has over one hundred thousand, million stars. Together with countless other milky ways they form our galaxy.
Our Galaxy is a part of over one hundred thousand other galaxies in the Universe. The vastness of the Universe and the creative ability of the Person who created it is beyond imagination. He must be greater than the Universe He created.
WHO initiated the substance it started with and completed it – WHO?
This visible, vast, genial Universe becomes even more marvelous when examining the matter it is made of.
One grain of sand the size of a pinhead, when examined under a microscope becomes a miniature universe, consisting of millions of microscopic atoms. Each atom is made up of smaller particles spinning around each other, invisible to the naked eye.
Creation is difficult to measure, however large or small!
Did this all start by accident!
It has a Creator who must be God!
Second consider the proof of DESIGN.
The complexity of Earth points to a deliberate Designer who not only created our universe, but sustains it today.
Everything that is designed has a designer.
A dress suit is designed and made by a tailor.
A watch or clock by a watchmaker.
A home or building by an architect and builder.
It would be ludicrous and ridiculous to think that all these beautiful things came about by some event of chance or some chemical reaction.
The workings of the immeasurable Universe with moving planets, stars, galaxies and mathematical equations are complex.
It makes the design of a manufactured watch, vehicle or supersonic jet look like child's play.
Consider the amazing variations in nature that cannot be replicated.
The Earth is located the right and perfect distance from the sun.
Its temperature swings roughly between 30 degrees and 120 degrees.
If the Earth were any further away from the sun, we would all freeze.
It rotates around the sun at a speed of about 67,000 mph.
It also rotates on its axis, allowing the entire surface of the Earth to be properly warmed and cooled every day.
Our moon is the right size and distance from Earth for a perfect gravitational pull.
It creates the ocean tides and movement so that ocean waters don’t stagnate.
It restrains the massive oceans from spilling over across the continents.
The wonder and beauty of the Earth is also beyond description.
The sight of majestic Mountains beneath the canopy of white clouds and blue skies.
Green valleys and meandering streams.
The Sounds of the forest.
The perfume of blossoms.
Beautiful flowers, colorful butterflies, chirping birds and different kinds of animals.
Gently falling rain and beautiful rainbow colors.
The satisfying taste of crystal clear water from a spring.
Delicious fruit, vegetables and food of all kinds.
Behind all of this there must be a Master Designer - GOD
Third consider the proof of INTUITION.
People have a natural intuition and desire within them, to worship God. We see this in many forms of religion.
They worship the sun, moon, idols, objects and creatures. Why?
There seems to be a driving force within man to worship a higher being.
This is also evident in areas where civilization has had no influence.
Where does this intuition come from?
Has it been implanted by God to draw people to Him?
Does God desire to be worshiped by man?
Fourth consider the proof of PURPOSE.
Everything exists for a purpose.
The sun gives us light and warmth.
Clouds give us rain.
Is the purpose of the creation of human life defined in man’s final destination?
Life after death, Eternity and Meeting up with God.
Grey hairs, decaying teeth, facial wrinkles indicate a life, fast approaching its end.
Is it possible that at death each person faces eternity and a real God?
A God who has reached out with love and friendship to Us.
Is this the ultimate purpose of creation?
What a tragedy that man so often brushes aside Gods loving gestures in ignorance.
